Surprisingly, this place is delish. I loved long Johns silver but it got too salty for me. This place is way better. I like how they have bake fish option and fried catfish. The staff is super friendly and I cannot wait to come back.

Had dinner with my family the day before I left to NY. This is by far the best food I had way better then LJS. Had me the Wild Alaskan salmon salad and it was really good! I would go back again on my next visit.

This has to be the slowest drive thru I've ever been to. It took 15 minutes for me to get my food. I passed 3 levels on Candy Crush (I have a lot of saved lives) between the time I ordered to when I got my food. When I got my food, the guy that handed me the box looked like he just finished fixing his car. His hands were covered in some black dirt (grease?) and it made me question whether or not I should eat the food he just handed me. There was no mention of why it took so long either. I wasn't expecting the fried cod to be anything spectacular coming from a drive thru. And my expectations were spot on. Taste was bland, and the fries were not seasoned. This was my first and last time I go to Captain D. Ironically, they are definitely not a well "oiled" machine.

The buffet on Wed/Sun is what makes this a tops on my Seafood list. I mean how many all you can eat seafood spots are there? The fish and fries keep coming, the hushpuppies are fresh and crispy while the sweet tea washes it all down nicely. The people are also very friendly. :) MichaelLoya.com

Excellent service! I'm not much for fried fish, but being on a budget my family ordered the special, and it was some of the best fried fish I've ever had. Again, the service was terrific and it was great Friday fare on a budget! Will go again!

Fish n Chips... really its what I expected. I'd never heard of these guys, but its just a typical chain, fast-food seafood joint. The fish was alright- cod I'm assuming. The breading wasn't too bad- not greasy- which is nice. In the combo I think they give you like 12 fries... and not the large kind either, we're talking regular shoe-string fries. Coleslaw was blah. The only thing I saw as a highlight was I liked the Malt Vinegar- it was very mild. I could douse my food with it and not be overpowered with the vinegar fumes and taste. You ought to try it sometime- its how the Brits do it. Speaking of Brits, I sure wish there was a traditional, cheap fish n chips joint around. The kind one would find in England or, where I saw them, in Australia. I always seem to find just chain restuarants like this place: manufactured tasting and over-priced.
